On November 15, members of the 蘑菇短视频 community gathered for our annual Student Awards Reception. This year’s recipients were joined by alumni, friends, family and donors to celebrate their incredible achievements.

The majority of 蘑菇短视频’s student awards come from philanthropic donations from our alumni community. Thanks to their generosity, our students are able to thrive throughout their time at the College. Below is a list of the recipients of application-based, in-course scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic year:

Bronskill Prize: Weston Miller

George Gray Falle Scholarship in English: Jonathan Dick, Elena Matas, Jonah Shallit

John Harvey Whiteside Scholarship: Zachary Demers (renewed: Graydon Kelch)

McLeod Scholarship: Rachel O鈥橞oyle

Matthews-Khan Award: Amanda Cutinha

William Rogers Memorial Scholarship: Alejandra Bellatin

William and Nona Heaslip Scholarship: Kelly Bilenkis, Kate Reeve (renewed: Danielle Pal, Aisha Ryan, Joudy Sarraj, Jerry Zhu)

Each year, 蘑菇短视频 offers students more than $1 million in awards, including scholarships, prizes and bursaries. Among the awards the College offers, approximately 100 are entrance scholarships. There are also a number of bursaries and over 400 in-course and graduation awards recognizing exceptional student achievement. Although students are automatically considered for many of the in-course 蘑菇短视频 scholarships, a number require student application. Among these are the William and Nona Heaslip Scholarships and the John Harvey Whiteside Scholarship.
